About the Perry Hall Branch |
|
|
The Perry Hall Branch provides recreational reading, information service, internet access and programs for the surrounding community. Opened in 1963 due to the work of the Northeastern Library Association the Perry Hall Branch continues to be the focus of community support.
The new 25,000 square foot building on Honeygo Boulevard opened on March 9, 2009. This building is twice the size of the facility it replaced which was located at 9440 Belair Road. This accessible "green" building offers a drive-up window, ample parking and houses a wide collection of materials and public computers with internet access and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Wireless internet access is available throughout the building.

The mission of the Friends of the Perry Hall Library, a group of dedicated volunteers, is to provide support to and advocate for the Perry Hall Branch. We strive to promote and expand the library's functions and services for the community.
