The Cockeysville Branch is situated adjacent to Baltimore County's County Home Park and the headquarters of the Historical Society of Baltimore County. This branch opened at its present location in 1982 and was one of the first library facilities in the nation featuring bookstore display shelving and neon signage. A quiet study room is a pleasant oasis in the midst of this very busy facility. A large collection of over 180,000 items and a wide range of programs provide enjoyment for customers of all ages.
