Baltimore County Department of Health - Dental Access and Referral Program

The Dental Access Program is a joint referral program between the Baltimore County Department of Health and the Baltimore County Dental Association. To qualify for the Dental Access Program you may not have any form of dental insurance or third party financial assistance and must meet financial guidelines. Those who qualify can receive a discounted fee for services provided by private participating general dentists and specialists.
The Public Health Dentistry office maintains a list of dentists who treat residents who are physically and mentally limited, homebound, nursing homebound, and the general public.These programs are available to all County residents. Patients can use these programs to help locate a private dentist for their continuing dental care after their course of treatment at a County dental clinic is completed.
Baltimore County Department of Health - Hearing Services
Provides services at two Baltimore County locations to any Baltimore County residents having trouble hearing or speaking.
Maryland licensed and certified audiologists provide comprehensive hearing testing to Baltimore County residents, from newborns through senior citizens on a sliding fee schedule according to income. Audiologist provide hearing aid recommendations as well as fitting and orientation. Referrals are accepted from any source. Citizens who have a limited income and cannot afford services from a private office are welcome. For children 0 to 3 years enrolled in the Baltimore County Infants and Toddlers Program, the services are at no cost to the family. Call the center nearest you to schedule an appointment. Website includes a chart useful to parents and caregivers to determine if a child's hearing and speaking skills are like other children.

Assures that Maryland uninsured or under-insured, low-income families and individuals in need of mental health care are linked with licensed mental health professionals who provide care on a volunteer basis at no cost. This non-profit mental health referral network includes licensed and insured clinical social workers, psychologists, professional counselors, psychiatrists and nurse psychotherapists who have agreed to take at least one voluntary case each year. For most cases, there is no limit to the number of sessions. Call to request a confidential consultation. Referrals accepted.
